Integrated Management Systems was established in 1980 as a custom software development company.  In 1983 the first IMS Scale and Billing system was developed for a diversified aggregate company with five plants.  

Since 1984, IMS has focused on the development of packaged software for the aggregate industry and has become a leader in the field.  By 1985, a fully integrated package had been developed to meet the operational and financial needs of the aggregate industry.  

IMS fills the gap between standard packaged software and what the individual customer's business requires.
